HVAC systems rank among the most efficient types of heating and cooling systems for both homes and businesses. Taking that a step further are zone control systems, adding a layer of control (and complexity) to your home or business’ temperature control.
Zone control systems work by distributing cold (or hot) air from the central unit through ductwork where it is pumped into rooms through vents by fans. These control systems utilize a motorized damper to regulate airflow on a “per room” or “per area” basis (much like a faucet nozzle being opened or closed).
Common Zone Control System Problems
In some cases, these issues may be minor and easily uncovered by home or business owners. However, some situations will require professional inspection and diagnosis to determine any underlying issues and what components may need to be repaired or replaced.
At the first sign of any issue, it is advisable to contact our HVAC team to assess the situation before small issues cause further damage resulting in major expenses.
