DeVAP – Increasing in popularity, DeVAP is short for “Desiccant Enhanced Evaporate”, cooling the air by utilizing a water-cooled honeycomb through which a fan blows air.
Solar and Geothermal – Depending on the area of the country, solar and/or geothermal energy sources are now being leveraged to heat and cool homes and businesses.
This approach utilizes “inverter technology” to rapidly cool or warm an area and then efficiently maintain that temperature. Not only can this reduce costs, but it can also extend the life of HVAC components and reduce sharp fluctuations in the load placed on the power supply.
